Amidst a pivotal election year, the 5th Annual Immigration Summit will spotlight the remarkable strides made across California and Los Angeles County to advance immigrant integration and inclusion by convening cross-sector partners, immigrant inclusion advocates, community leaders, philanthropy, elected officials, academia, and media partners for dynamic conversations, immersive learning sessions and scenario planning. Through collaborative dialogue and knowledge-sharing, attendees will learn about the radiating impacts across the region and state, explore innovative approaches and best practices aimed at advancing immigrant inclusion and opportunities to forge a path forward locally and nationally.
About the Summit
The summit will honor immigrants for their pivotal role in driving economic growth and shaping the cultural, economic, and social fabric of our nation through their invaluable contributions. It will also emphasize the importance of creating pathways for immigrants to thrive. When immigrants are able to access education, employment, and social services, they contribute their skills and creativity to our collective success. California stands as a beacon of progress, where historic victories have expanded immigrant rights and opportunities, setting a blueprint for the rest of the nation to follow.

Panel discussions will spotlight a myriad of local, state, national and global policies, programs, and practices aimed at advancing immigrant justice and inclusion. From innovative initiatives to legislative successes, these conversations will delve into the strategies that empower immigrant communities and promote their integration into society. By highlighting best practices and success stories, we aim to inspire collaborative action and drive positive change at all levels.
The Summit also serves as the annual release of the State of Immigrants in Los Angeles County (SOILA) report by the USC Equity Research Institute (ERI), unveiling data on how immigrants in LA County are faring to refocus the attention on how key players in Los Angeles and beyond can continue advancing a pro¬-immigrant agenda.
