Capacity-building has continuously been a buzz-word within the philanthropic arena that has been defined and interpreted to mean any variety of activities. However, as our nonprofit neighbors and the communities they serve face more intense and more intentional barriers than ever before, capacity-building has to similarly take a more targeted and tactical approach.
The Community Revitalization Fund provides support to nonprofit organizations in a way that simultaneously enhances their capacity to survive the daily onslaught of challenges they face while also further positioning them to achieve sustainability for the programs that they provide to their respective communities. We do this by investing in their teams.
This fund focuses on work happening across the State of California but also supports some work nationally.
