CCF offers comprehensive legacy planning services to help donors create a lasting philanthropic impact in Los Angeles County. There are two primary ways for donors to establish their legacy at CCF.

First, they can convert an existing Donor Advised Fund into a Field of Interest Fund, a Restricted Fund, or an Unrestricted Fund. Second, they can name CCF in their estate planning documents or by designating CCF as a beneficiary of an existing account. Donors can support CCF’s programs or their own fund at CCF.

To help guide the legacy planning process, our team works with donors to create a Letter of Testamentary Intent. This customized document clearly outlines the donors’ charitable wishes and ensures CCF will carry out their philanthropic legacy according to their specific intentions.

CCF recognizes those who include CCF in their estate plans by inviting them to be a part of the Sartori Circle, named after CCF’s founder Joseph Sartori. Members of CCF’s legacy society receive special event invitations and recognition opportunities. Most importantly, they join a community of forward-thinking philanthropists committed to strengthening Los Angeles communities.
