Diego Sepúlveda is a Donor Relations Officer with the California Community Foundation (CCF). He is part of the external fundraising team responsible for developing and strengthening long-term relationships on behalf of the California Community Foundation with key donors, prospects, and fund advisors, including one-on-one consultations, advising on best practices in philanthropic giving, and strategically adding value to the CCF donor experience through aligned giving opportunities.
Concurrently, Sepúlveda currently serves as a Planning Commissioner for the City of South Gate. Prior to CCF, Sepúlveda served as the Director of Development for LA Compost, where he oversaw fund development efforts and led elements of strategic planning, organizational development, and staff development. He has also served in a Senior Director role on Senator Elizabeth Warren’s Presidential Campaign and Director of the Dream Resource Center at the UCLA Labor Center, a national source for innovative research, education, policy, and leadership development on immigration issues.
Sepúlveda is an alumnus of Coca Cola’s NextGen LGBTQ Leaders Initiative, Equality California’s Leadership Academy, LGBTQ Victory Institute’s Victory Empowerment Fellowship, and People for the American Way / Young Elected Officials Network’s Front Line Leaders Academy.
Sepúlveda earned his B.A. from UCLA and M.B.A. from the School of Enterprise Management and Social Impact (SEMSI) at American Jewish University in Bel Air, CA.
