Robey Theatre Company

Robey Theatre Company explores and develops provocative and innovative plays written about the Black experience and reinterprets established works. The theatre company promotes an environment of understanding and support in which multicultural theatre artists are compelled to take risks in the search for artistic fulfillment. Through its playwrights lab, advanced scene workshop, and educational outreach programs, Robey provides opportunities and encouragement for such growth while contributing to high standards of excellence in the American Black Theatre.
