Los Angeles Scholars Investment Fund
Los Angeles Scholars Investment Fund (LASIF) grants support the work of nonprofit organizations with proven track records of helping students from low-income households in Los Angeles County prepare for and graduate from college. Grant opportunities include funding for need-based scholarship programs and program support for college access and success services including financial aid guidance, college preparation, advising, and college retention and completion work.
LASIF currently supports a portfolio of community partners through its ongoing college access, success, and scholarship grantmaking and through a special two-year initiative to reach and serve more young men of color in their path to and through college.
At this time LASIF is not accepting proposals for new potential partners.
In the fall of 2018, CCF launched a new Emergency Student Aid program. Through this work, nonprofit partners will be supported to provide micro-grants to students to address a specific crisis or unmet need that may otherwise jeopardize their educational dreams. Like all of LASIF’s work, these financial resources are to be combined with additional services to support student success. More information regarding nonprofit partner eligibility and application process will be made available in November 2019.
