Los Angeles Scholars Investment Fund

  • Overview

Los Angeles Scholars Investment Fund (LASIF) grants support the work of nonprofit organizations with proven track records of helping students from low-income households in Los Angeles County prepare for and graduate from college. Grant opportunities include funding for need-based scholarship programs and program support for college access and success services including financial aid guidance, college preparation, advising, and college retention and completion work.

In addition to its core partners, LASIF currently supports a portfolio of community partners through its ongoing college access, success, and scholarship grantmaking and through a special multi-year initiative to reach and serve more young men of color in their path to and through college.

LASIF grantmaking also includes the RISH Fund, a multi-year pilot to expand the use of emergency financial aid and hardship grants in support of postsecondary attainment.

At this time LASIF is not accepting proposals for new potential partners.
