Los Angeles Scholars Investment Fund

An investment in the Los Angeles Scholars Investment Fund (LASIF) is a commitment to not only L.A. County students, but to the entire region. By empowering our students to succeed, we improve the quality of life throughout Los Angeles. LASIF goes beyond scholarships to get results. Our nonprofit partners provide the wrap-around services needed to help students get to and through college.

But the unmet need in Los Angeles is tremendous, and we need your help. In LASIF’s first four years, more than 26,000 students were served by scholarships and programs. With your support, it is our hope to double the number of students we serve over the next four years. By becoming a LASIF Hero, you leverage your dollars with the California Community Foundation, fellow donors and funders to maximize impact and achieve results. Multi–year commitments are designed to provide the scholarships and support that students need in order to succeed.

Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation’s board of directors. This charge will appear on your credit card statement as a payment to “Calif Comm Fdn – CCF”. In addition, California Community Foundation incurs a third-party administrative fee of 2.7 percent for credit card contributions. The foundation will charge the fee directly to the individual fund.
