Jacqueline Siegler
Program Associate, Education and Los Angeles Scholars Investment Fund
Jacqueline Siegler serves the Los Angeles County community as a Program Associate in the K-12, Postsecondary and Los Angeles Scholars Investment Fund portfolios.
In 2018, Siegler interned as the partnerships and grant coordinator for the Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE) in Dakar, Senegal. Outside of work, she led a series of English language workshop intensives for alumni of the organization seeking to strengthen their English fluency to better advocate for women’s rights at pan-African educational conferences hosted in English. Siegler graduated Claremont McKenna College in 2019 with a dual major in Government and Film Studies (honors), and a minor in Leadership Studies. Siegler was awarded a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant fellowship for Cusco, Peru, to begin in February of 2020.
After completing TESOL certification in 2020, Siegler joined California Community Foundation’s grants management department in 2021. On the grants management team, Siegler learned about California Community Foundation’s multi-faceted grantmaking, and honed her technical grantmaking skills. In August 2022, Siegler was thrilled to re-shift her professional attention toward education, as she joined the equity and systems-change oriented Education team. Siegler looks forward to the day where luck is no longer the determining factor in a young person’s access to quality education.
