Marjy and Richard Horton

Growing up in rural Washington and Long Island, respectively, we went on to travel the nation together through Richard’s career as physician. Enjoying beauty of the great outdoors has been a thread throughout our courtship and marriage. Our legacy will support environmental causes and scholarships for medical students.

The California Community Foundation partnered with StoryCorps to record the stories of our Centennial Legacy Society members. StoryCorps is a national nonprofit whose mission is to provide all people with the chance to record, preserve, and share the stories of our lives.
