“At this point in my life, at the age I’m at, it feels very appropriate to say, how can I serve?”
— Douglas Raleigh
My mother was a single parent during the Depression who, with great determination, got me through college, where I pursued graduate work and then enjoyed a long career in aerospace. The loss of my daughter to suicide motivated me to establish a fund in her name to support education and prevention. My legacy helps young adults with emotional and situational challenges to move forward with their lives.
