District Attorney’s Victim’s Assistance Fund
The office of the Los Angeles District Attorney has established the District Attorney’s Victim’s Assistance Fund to benefit victims of crime and their families by providing holiday gifts, meals and other methods of support.
A popular program of the fund is the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office annual Holiday Giving Drive, which provides holiday meals and gifts, including toys, bikes and gift certificates to hundreds of families that have been victims of violent crime.
In the past, only staff at the District Attorney’s office has had the opportunity to contribute to this fund. Now members of the public can also participate in the Holiday Giving Drive by contributing online.
