LA County COVID 19 Response Fund
CCF created the LA County COVID 19 Response Fund to rapidly deploy resources to community nonprofits and health care providers who are working on the ground to address the COVID-19 pandemic in LA County.
Centering the needs of LA’s most vulnerable in our communities, CCF is working in close collaboration with City, County and State leaders, nonprofit organizations, businesses, donors and philanthropic organizations to deploy funds and resources for the greatest impact.

Our Impact
We are working with partners to address the immediate and emerging needs of our region’s most vulnerable residents—from hardship relief to long-term recovery. With an outpouring of support from individual donors, corporations, and foundations, over $26 million from our LA County COVID-19 Response Fund went to support 384 nonprofits.

Data Driven Response
CCF is using data visualization to reflect on past and to inform future grantmaking. By using data from sources like the Center for Disease Control (CDC)’s Social Vulnerability Index, Los Angeles Homeless Service Authority’s Homeless Count and other indicators of vulnerability like eligibility for the earned income tax credit and free and reduced lunches, we are ensuring that our grantmaking can better align with community needs during this rapidly shifting pandemic.
