Coalition For Responsible Community Development

CRCD-webCoalition for Responsible Community Development (CRCD) is a youth-centered community development corporation serving South LA’s low-income Vernon-Central neighborhood. CRCD’s mission is to better sustain, coordinate, and improve local planning, development, and community services that address the needs of low-income residents and small businesses in South L.A.

CRCD has a focus on youth aged 16-24 – particularly Black & Latino youth – who need equal opportunity for housing, education and jobs and whose great talents & energy can contribute to neighborhood revitalization. CRCD provides an alternative high school, YouthBuild program, homeless youth drop-in center, YouthSource & WorkSource Centers and builds housing.

Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation’s board of directors. This charge will appear on your credit card statement as a payment to “Calif Comm Fdn – CCF”. In addition, California Community Foundation incurs a third-party administrative fee of 2.7 percent for credit card contributions. The foundation will charge the fee directly to the individual fund.
