We Count L.A.
Next year, every single Angeleno will have the chance to show the nation that we count. Data from the U.S. Census plays a tremendous role in almost every aspect of our lives, driving more than 80 percent of California’s federal funding. The future of our schools, hospitals, childcare centers, public transit and government services depend on full participation in the 2020 Census.
Looking Back on BLOOM
Studies show that attaining a high school diploma reduces the chance of incarceration by 87 percent. That’s why CCF launched BLOOM (Building a Lifetime of Options and Opportunities for Men), which helped more than 800 young Black men onto positive paths so they can succeed in college, careers and life.
Donors in Action
As summer turns to fall, it’s inspiring to take a look back at all the incredible work in which CCF donors have been involved. In issues from the arts to wildfires, our donors transform hundreds of thousands of lives and futures every year. By creating customized programming to educate donors on the issues they care about most, we’re helping them maximize their impact and get the most from their giving.
International Grantmaking
CCF regularly helps donors who want to support international organizations. Federal rules can be complex, and failure to follow them can lead to major tax penalties on the giver. Fortunately, our expert staff have decades of experience with charitable regulations, approaches and organizations, here in L.A. and across the globe.
