Avenue 50 Studio

Avenue 50 Studio is an arts presentation organization grounded in Latino culture and visual art, located in northeast Los Angeles. It seek to bridge cultures through artistic expression, using content-driven art to educate and stimulate intercultural understanding among the diversity of Los Angeles.

Its vision is to be widely recognized as an innovative leader in the field of art and to be a respected advocate and sought-after venue for patron and artists whose work offers insightful commentary about life in our multicultural world.

Avenue 50 Studio is guided by three principles:

It builds relationships with artists and with its community. It extends this commitment to its staff, board, volunteers and patrons.

It is committed to be expansive in its definitions of art and community; to broaden the public’s understanding of Latino art.

It is committed to being a catalyst for change and creativity. It continually challenge assumptions and maintain a high tolerance for risk in the creative arts. It continues to learn from its artists as they make their own statements.

Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation’s board of directors. This charge will appear on your credit card statement as a payment to “Calif Comm Fdn – CCF”. In addition, California Community Foundation incurs a third-party administrative fee of 2.7 percent for credit card contributions. The foundation will charge the fee directly to the individual fund.
