Adrian Vasquez is CCF’s Youth Development Program Associate supporting the Education team’s Ready to Rise initiative and whole-learner approach to education. Adrian has an extensive career, dedicated to bringing social justice for youth and adults reentering the community.
Adrian comes to CCF from our partner organization, the Anti-Recidivism Coalition (ARC), where he served as the Vocation and Education Manager for over five years. There, he helped men and women who were impacted by the justice system by providing them support with meaningful employment, mentoring and counseling. As the Vocation and Education Manager he oversaw a $1.5million grant from the Department of Labor which funded Second Chance Union Training Program.
Adrian serves as the Board Vice-President of Clothes the Deal, a non-profit organization that provides business attire to low-income individuals. While attending Cal State Long Beach, Adrian helped to create a student organization called Rising Scholars to provide a support network for formerly-incarcerated students.
Adrian earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology with an emphasis in deviance and social control from California State University, Long Beach. He is also a 2018 Just Leadership fellow.
