LaJon James assists and supports the Vice President, Public Policy and Civic Engagement and serves as program associate for the department.

Prior to joining CCF, James was a field deputy for a former L.A. City Councilmember, assisted countless Americans in efforts to receiving government assistance benefits, and trained home care workers on best practices for their patients.

James received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA and enjoys mediating and practicing the art of mindfulness.
