Lauren Uy

Program Associate, LA n Sync & Sustainability

Lauren Uy supports the LA n Sync Initiative, Non-Profit Sustainability Initiative (NSI), Sustainability Grantmaking, and other community investments at the California Community Foundation. In addition, Uy serves on the steering committee for the Los Angeles County Food Equity Roundtable (LACFER).

Uy holds her bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Occidental College, where she worked with the Urban and Environmental Policy Institute — an applied research and advocacy center for environmental justice programs and policies.

Uy is passionate about building equitable and sustainable food systems and enjoys spending her free time in community gardens.
