
Carolina Vallejo
Program Associate, Health & Immigration
Carolina Vallejo supports the Sr. Program Officer for Health and Sr. Program Officer for Immigration with the implementation of each portfolio’s strategy, goals, grantmaking and other activities in key priority issue areas of the Foundation.
Prior to joining CCF, Vallejo worked in both the public and non-profit sector across L.A. County focusing on community health, education, and college-access. Her passion for social justice developed at a young age having been raised in Long Beach, California in a tight-knit immigrant family.
Vallejo holds a dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Latin American, Latino and Caribbean Studies and Women’s and Gender Studies from Dickinson College and a Master of Arts in Education from California State University, Long Beach. Vallejo is also an alumna scholar of the Posse Foundation and the Gates Millennium Scholars Program.
