Brianne O’Donoghue

Program Manager, Trauma Prevention Partnerships

Brianne O’Donoghue supports the Trauma Prevention Partnerships program which seeks to address violence and promote healing in communities disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. As program manager, O’Donoghue assists in strategy development, grant coordination, and the program’s daily operations.

Previously, O’Donoghue served as a College Access Coordinator at Manual Arts High School through the nonprofit organization LA Promise Fund. In addition to providing counseling and connecting students to postsecondary resources, she developed programming to engage immigrant students and families. She continued this work as a College Match Counselor with KIPP SoCal Public Schools. In this role, she supported 100+ students across South and East Los Angeles in defining and achieving their postsecondary goals. Most recently, at Facilitation Corps, she provided consultation services ranging from organizational development to community engagement, all with a racial equity focus. Having served at the intersection of education, immigration, and a host of other social issues, O’Donoghue is committed to building community power in both her professional work and civic engagement.

O’Donoghue studied at El Camino College before transferring to Wellesley College where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in peace & justice studies. She also holds an MSW from CSU Dominguez Hills with a specialization in community capacity building.
