Louise H. Bryson

Louise Henry Bryson is chair emerita of the J. Paul Getty Trust. She has had a 30-year career in media, and until 2009 was president of distribution for Lifetime Entertainment Services and executive vice president and general manager of Lifetime Movie Network (LMN). Bryson began her career in public television as a writer and producer and served on the PBS National Board and as the chair of the L.A. PBS station, KCET. She is a trustee for Pomona College, Huntington Hospital and Capital Management Group Funds. She chairs the board for The Teaching Channel (Tch), an on-line professional development website for teachers. Bryson holds an M.B.A. and M.A.T. from Stanford University, and a B.A. from the University of Washington.
