Kids Need Your Help This Summer

Summer should be enriching and fun for kids, but this year many of our community's low-income youth won't be able to participate in summer programs and day camps. That's because the recession has reduced community programs, closed pools and summer schools and stretched family finances too thin.
That's why we need your help. Through the Summer Youth Fund, CCF is helping low-income, at risk youth to participate in programs with the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles and the City of L.A.'s Summer Night Lights.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we've raised $132,900 as of July 15, for a total of $257,900 including CCF's $125,000 match.
For $1,000 six kids could go to a weeklong camp or 25 kids could participate in organized activities at a neighborhood park all summer long.
Please give to the Summer Youth Fund 2009.
