CCF will fund efforts to integrate immigrants into the social, economic and civic life of the communities where they live and work. The grantmaking opportunities include:
*Please Note: Only nonprofits with a 501(c)(3) status, located in Los Angeles County and serving communities within the county boundaries are eligible for grant consideration for the Immigrant Integration Initiative.
Social Integration
Goal: Increase access to social services among immigrants and non-immigrants
Strategy: Community planning focused in a specific community
Expected results:
Improved communications, outreach and coordination among social service providers so that immigrants and non-immigrants can more easily access those services
Strong partnerships among service providers
Increased immigrant and resident use of social services

Civic Integration
Goal: Promote civic engagement among immigrants and non-immigrants
Strategy: Cross-cultural community organizing
Expected results:
Increased civic engagement among immigrants in community problem solving
Increased trust and mutual understanding between immigrants and non-immigrants in their communities

Economic Integration
Goal: Increase immigrants’ fluency in English
Strategies:
Instructional technology partnerships
Workplace English language program
Expected results:
Expanded access to workplace English as a Second Language programs
Increased English language skills among immigrants
