As a steward of funds for nearly 100 years, the California Community Foundation exists to honor the philanthropic legacy of our donors. As you think about the long-term change you will make in the causes you care about most, we hope you will consider CCF as the vehicle to make it happen.
Your instructions can be as broad or as detailed as you would like, and it is our job to make sure they are carried out in perpetuity, all the while protecting your financial and philanthropic investment. We frequently work with donors as they prepare their legacy instructions, and invite you to meet one of our donor relations colleagues to establish a legacy plan. Read sample testamentary instructions and advice on instructions for successor advisors.
To honor and recognize those donors who have named CCF as a beneficiary in a will or living trust, a retirement account or a life insurance policy, we have created the Legacy Society. As a member of the Legacy Society, you are invited to exclusive events on the most pressing community issues featuring speakers such as LAUSD Superintendent Ray Cortines or prominent Iraq veteran and advocate Paul Rieckoff. In addition, you are recognized in publications including our flagship annual report, unless you choose to remain anonymous. You willl also have access to our philanthropic experts on staff and services who can help make your giving more meaningful to you.
