J Michael Walker | The Angel of Youth Empowerment
The Angel of Youth Empowerment speaks to finding a balance between being grounded and being adventurous, and to the positive creativity that can result. The angel is grounded, seated upon a foundation of the natural world, represented by the undulating foliage and by the orbiting earth and its rhythms and seasons supporting her. Her face is bathed in golden starlight, referencing the blessings of empowerment that enable her to flourish. And the birds emanating from her soul represent the creativity and productivity that will be her future. The angel faces us and the future with an attitude of self-assurance and self-confidence. She approaches the world open-eyed and with a spirit of adventure, represented by the compass points that crown her forehead like a wreath. Her head is in the stars, indicating the endless possibilities that lay before her. Yet her clear-eyed demeanor assures us that she will choose wisely.
