Long Beach Community Foundation Public Safety Fund
The Long Beach Community Foundation has established the LBCF Public Safety Fund to support public safety projects designed to enhance the well-being of Long Beach.
The LBCF will periodically solicit grant proposals and work closely with the Police and Fire Chiefs, local nonprofit community organizations and individuals who have knowledge of the community's needs to identify proposals for funding.
Programs that may be supported by the fund include:
- Public Safety Projects
- Community Policing
- Emergency Response
- Disaster Preparedness
- Youth Outreach
- Community-Based Programs
Grants from the fund will be made to organizations and programs such as:
- Police Department
- Fire Department
- Nonprofit Agencies
- City-Sponsored Public Safety Programs
- Health and Human Services
- Long Beach Community
