District Attorney Victim and Crime Prevention Initiatives Fund

The office of the Los Angeles District Attorney has established the District Attorney Victim and Crime Prevention Initiatives Fund to benefit victims of crime and their families.

A popular program of the fund is the Los Angeles District Attorney's office annual Holiday Giving Drive, which provides holiday meals and gifts, including toys, bikes, and gift certificates to hundreds of families that have been victims of violent crime.

In 2003, for the first time, credit card contributions can be made online to the District Attorney Victim and Crime Prevention Initiatives Fund. Make your secure online donation below.

In the past, only staff at the District Attorney's office has had the opportunity to contribute to this fund. This year, members of the public can also participate in the Holiday Giving Drive by contributing online.

In 2002, more than 600 children were provided traditional holiday dinners; 250 families recieved some kind of support.

The District Attorney Victim and Crime Prevention Initiatives Fund provides support to victims of crime and their families through holiday gifts, meals, and other methods of support.

Contributions to the California Community Foundation represent irrevocable gifts subject to the legal and fiduciary control of the foundation's Board of Directors.
